What first inspired you to be creative? What inspires you to be creative today?
I was inspired by other artists at a young age. Seeing what can be created from different mediums expressing oneself. I now find the everyday ups and downs of life inspires me.
Why and how do you utilize the materials you incorporate into your artwork?
I find my work evolving from a ‘plein air’ style with energetic texture and color to a more planned out image of an analyzed thought with an impressionist color pallet.
What role does the artist have in society?
The artists role takes many forms. Whether it’s challenging opinions, opening minds to self awareness or encouraging a movement to better society
