Gently muddle about half of your mint leaves. You want to release the minty flavor from the veins, but do so gently so as not to tear or bruise your mint. Tough muddling will cause your mint to taste more vegetal and could ruin your delicious cocktail.
Add all liquid ingredients together.
Add half of the crushed ice and stir, then top with the rest of the ice.
Garnish accordingly.
